How does payment work if I am covered by another insurance company or if I am uninsured?

 

I want to make the financial aspect of your therapy and/or your psychological evaluation as smooth as possible. While I am considered an out-of-network provider with other insurance companies and do not directly participate with other insurance plans, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits. Out-of-network benefits provide reimbursement often ranging from 40% - 80%, depending on your plan. My services may also be considered on your flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA).

I have partnered with Mentaya, a service to assist in filing out-of-network claims on your behalf. They will help you potentially receive partial reimbursement for our services. You can use the convenient tool on my website to check if you are eligible for these benefits.

 

Clients who are out of network will also receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much their mental health care is estimated to cost. As of January 2022 it is required that health care providers inform patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for their care.
